In 2023, Daytona Beach Bike Week will celebrate its 82nd year as the official beginning of the motorcycle rally and riding season. This epic event draws motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world for a 10-day celebration of all things motorcycle. While the COVID-19 pandemic has constrained many large events over the past few years, Daytona Bike Week began to bounce back in 2022, and it's certainly ready to thunder into a pulse-pounding future in 2023 and beyond.
As the name suggests, this event is located in the city of Daytona Beach, on Florida's east coast. The rally has traditionally been centered on Main Street, but it also extends across intercostal waterway into the surrounding counties, with many events located on the mainland.
Daytona Bike Week starts on Friday, March 3, and ends on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Unlike some smaller motorcycle rallies that have an admission fee, Daytona Bike Week is free to attend! That said, some individual events and venues do have entrance fees, so plan on having some cash on hand.
Measured in approximate attendance, the two rallies are comparable. In terms of the geographic area each rally covers, Sturgis Rally and Races is spread over a larger, more sparsely populated area. Daytona Bike Week is more geographically compact and has a much higher local population density.
